Digital Talking Book
DAISY stands for: Digital Accessible Information SYstem. DAISY is a type of digital talking book, one of the main upcoming formats offering flexible, multi sensory content.
The DAISY Consortium was formed in May 1996 by talking book libraries to lead the worldwide transition from analogue to Digital Talking Books. The DAISY standard was created by the consortium as a standard template for creating digital talking books.
